John Tesar is a three-time James Beard Best Chef Southwest semifinalist, Top Chef Contestant, and sought-after consultant. His modern American cuisine has garnered much acclaim, including nods from Esquire, Food & Wine, New York Magazine and The New York Times.  He’s appeared on "The Today Show" and "The Early Show,” and won the inaugural season of Food Network’s “Extreme Chef.” His current restaurant, Knife, is a reinvention of the steakhouse and features Texas born beef - including a 240-day aged ribeye, lamb, and pork.
