  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup white wine

  5. Pour in the 3/4 cup of white wine and stir gently until it’s reduced by half. Add the chicken broth or another cup of white wine along with some chopped thyme leaves; bring to boil and then reduce heat and simmer until it’s reduced by half again.

  6. Add in the butter stirring continuously until melted completely then adding in the heavy cream while continuously whisking.

  7. Bring to light boil then lower heat to medium-low continue to cook until sauce thickens which will take 6-8 minutes.

Substitutions and Variations

“Satisfy your cravings with this flavorful chicken dish, perfect for any wine lover out there!”

If you’re looking to put your own spin on this creamy chicken white wine sauce recipe, there are plenty of opportunities to do so. Here are some substitutions and variations that you can try:

– Chicken: Instead of using boneless, skinless chicken breasts, you can use chicken thighs or a combination of both for a different texture and flavor.

– Wine: While chardonnay is a great choice for the wine sauce, you can experiment with other dry white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or even a dry Riesling. Just make sure to choose a wine that you would also enjoy drinking as it’s an important ingredient in the sauce.

– Vegetables: You can add other vegetables such as mushrooms or chopped sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce for added depth of flavor.

– Cheese: Parmesan cheese is a classic Italian cheese used in many creamy pasta dishes. However, if you don’t have access to it or want to try something different, grated Romano or Asiago cheese can be great substitutes.

– Dairy: If you’re lactose intolerant or prefer dairy-free options, you can substitute the heavy cream in the recipe with coconut cream or unsweetened almond milk. It will still give the dish a creamy texture and mild sweetness without the dairy.

– Sauce recipes: If you’re not feeling like having creamy chicken white wine sauce, there are other sauce recipes that pair well with chicken. Try making a pan sauce with minced garlic, chicken broth, and dry white wine cooked in the same pan after searing the chicken. You can also make a butter sauce by melting butter in a pan with minced onions and garlic before adding heavy cream and dry white wine.

These substitutions and variations are just some ideas to get creative in your kitchen. Feel free to try them out or come up with your own based on what you have on hand or what suits your taste. Experimentation is key to discovering new flavors and combinations that you may love.

Serving and Pairing

“Impress your guests with this mouthwatering white wine cream sauce – a delicious addition to any chicken recipe!”

This Chicken with White Wine Cream Sauce recipe makes for a perfect dinner option that goes well with an array of side dishes. To begin with, I would recommend pairing it with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles. The creamy consistency of the sauce nicely contrasts the starchiness of these sides while still making for a hearty meal.

If you’re looking for something lighter, you can pair this dish with a fresh green salad featuring ingredients like arugula, cherry tomatoes, and a light vinaigrette dressing. The acidity in the salad pairs well with the richness of the sauce and chicken.

When it comes to wine pairing, white wine is always the way to go for creamy chicken dishes like this one. A chardonnay or pinot grigio would complement the flavors in the cream sauce and lend some balance to each bite. Make sure to choose a dry white wine as a sweeter wine can overpower the delicate flavors of this dish.

For those who prefer red wine, a light-bodied pinot noir or beaujolais could also work surprisingly well by creating an interesting contrast between their fruitiness and the richness of the sauce.

Finally, to complete this meal, I recommend adding some baked potatoes or roasted vegetables such as asparagus or carrots on top of your dish. This will not only add some extra textures but also provide additional comforting flavors!

Make-Ahead, Storing and Reheating

“Get ready to fall in love with the perfect combination of juicy pan-seared chicken and flavorful white wine sauce!”

This Chicken with White Wine Cream Sauce recipe is a great option for make-ahead meals. You can easily double or triple the recipe and freeze it for later. To do so, cook the chicken and prepare the sauce according to instructions, then let cool completely before storing in an airtight container. When you are ready to serve, simply reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop until hot.

It is important to store this dish correctly to ensure the best quality leftovers. Keep any remaining chicken and sauce in separate containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, heat the sauce over low heat on the stove until warmed through and creamy again. Reheat the chicken separately in the oven at 350°F until heated through.

If you find that your leftover chicken has become dry, try adding a splash of chicken stock or white wine cream sauce to moisten it up. This will help keep your meal fresh when reheating.

This dish can also be prepared ahead of time for entertaining guests. Prepare the chicken and sauce earlier in the day, then leave them covered in the refrigerator until you are ready to cook and serve. This will make dinner preparation much quicker and easier when it’s time to entertain.

Overall, this recipe is perfect if you’re looking to prepare meals ahead of time or store leftovers. Just make sure to follow proper storage techniques to maintain its delicious taste and quality!

Tips for Perfect Results

“This chicken cooked in a white wine cream sauce will rock your taste buds

To achieve the best possible outcome for this creamy chicken with white wine sauce recipe, follow these tips that I have gathered throughout my experience as a chef.

Firstly, be sure to use boneless, skinless chicken breasts which will make for a more tender and juicy dish. You can also use chicken thighs or boneless chicken as an alternative. To create a perfectly seasoned dish, season the chicken with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste before cooking.

When sautéing the shallots in olive oil, be sure not to let them burn or become too brown as this can add a bitter taste to the dish. Instead, keep an eye on them until they turn translucent and soft.

In making the white wine cream sauce, it is important to use chardonnay or any good quality white wine that you enjoy drinking. The sauce will take on the flavors of the wine used, so don’t be afraid to try different types of white wines to see which one you prefer.

To avoid lumps in your sauce when adding heavy cream, remember to stir constantly over low heat until it is fully incorporated into the pan sauce. You may also opt for sour cream if you prefer a tangier flavor for your sauce.

This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes or pasta as its side dish. If you want to make it more filling, you can add parmesan cheese or sun-dried tomatoes as toppings.

Lastly, do not forget to garnish with freshly chopped parsley or thyme for added brightness and aroma. These simple steps will guarantee a delicious and impressive meal that both you and your guests will love.
